River Run Spotted Bass are, pound for pound, the hardest fighting bass you will encounter. Known to break rods, break lines, and break hearts, Tallapoosa River Spots put Large Mouth twice their size to shame in aggression, ferocity, and tenacity. This fish is one of many Spots measuring over eighteen inches in length I caught on on this trip. Aside from mammoth spots, the Tallapoosa possesses some of the finest Redeye Bass populations around. My personal best, a massive sixteen incher, crushed a spinner bait off a complex laydown.
